How to Rescan Your TV

Rescanning is straightforward and requires no new equipment or services. Select “scan” or “autotune” from your TV or converter box menu. Instructions are often found by pressing the “set-up” or “menu” buttons on your remote control. For best results, you may wish to do the rescan during the middle of the day when there is no inclement weather in the area. Other television stations may suggest that you also rescan your set soon. Each time you rescan, please make sure that channels 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 25-1 and 42-1 will appear on your television set. This rescanning process should stabilize after April 12, 2019 in our viewing area.

If you watch TV through a cable or satellite service provider, you do not need to rescan. Your service provider will do it for you.
