This Women's History Month, South Florida PBS proudly presents She Was first, a new docuseries hosted by award-winning journalist Soledad O'Brien. Through intimate conversations, She Was First reveals what it took for six trailblazing women to become first in their respective areas of the arts, how they continue to open doors for other and how their creativity, fortitude and perseverance have enriched our cultural landscape. The docuseries spotlights six pioneering women in the arts, including Misty Copeland, Ruth E. Carter, Sonia Manzano, Marin Alsop, Jacqueline Woodson, and Cat Cora.
