“Your Healthy Community” is the area’s first locally-produced public affairs show focusing on all aspects of your health and what it takes to build healthier neighborhoods. The show will go beyond the politics of the Health Reform Act into the realities of what it means to you and your family as well as highlight the people, programs and places that are making all of South Florida a healthier place to live, work and play. It takes more than basic health care and health insurance to make sure that our cities are a good place to live; every week we will share stories of how various aspects of a community must work together to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone. Topics will include access to health care for all, healthy kids and communities outreach, school wellness, safe neighborhood initiatives and much more. Viewers will have a chance to suggest stories, ask questions and learn more about how to be part of a healthier Palm Beach County.
Your Healthy Community airs at Tuesdays at 7:30pm, only on WXEL Television.
