FORGOTTEN VICTIMS
OF THE FORECLOSURE CRISIS

"The American Humane Association estimates that with 8,000 houses going into foreclosure every day, between 15,000 and 26,000 animals are in danger of losing their homes daily." In South Florida, the number of pets at local shelters has doubled. WXEL has partnered with the Tri County Humane Society to bring attention to this issue and help find homes for these forgotten victims of the foreclosure crisis.
