As the director of the Garnet Society and a Palm Beach supporter to the arts and children’s charities for over 12 years, I encourage you to join me and support your local NPR/PBS station. WXEL has been providing world-class quality local programming to the Palm Beach community in radio for more than 35 years and for 21 years in television.
I was raised on PBS with shows like Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers, the very same shows that continue to educate our children today. I am sure you share with me in the importance of educational children’s programming and remember yourself or your children watching these timeless programs.
WXEL TV and FM bring South Florida shows like Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Great Performances, Nova and Wall Street Week as well as our award winning local program “South Florida Today.”
The Garnet Society is a group of philanthropic individuals whose support enables WXEL to continue its mission of quality, educational and entertaining programming. Our outreach for local at-risk children and commitment to our viewing community is a wonderful combination that allows our supporters to BE MORE...

WXEL and Mackenzie Childs had a wonderful Holiday Toast and Tea on December 10th to kick-off The 2009-2010 Season.
The event was a gift gathering party for WXEL's Annual National award-winning luncheon "Women with Wings and Wisdom".
